Installed heating equipment that is readily accessible, including vent systems, flues & chimneys; fuel storage and fuel distribution systems; exhaust piping; visual inspection of fireplaces or other solid fuel burning appliances
Walls, ceilings, floors, steps, ramps, stairways and railings; representative number of cabinets, doors and windows;
Interior water supply and distribution systems, including all fixtures (toilets, shower stalls, bathtubs, sinks) and faucets; visible drainage systems; hot water tank; sump pumps;
Insulation and vapour barriers in unfinished spaces; ventilation of attics and foundation areas; mechanical ventilation systems; kitchen, bathroom and laundry room ventilation systems
All exterior wall coverings, flashings, trim; exterior doors; attached/adjacent decks, balconies, steps, porches, railings; eaves, soffits, facia (where accessible from ground level); vegetation, grading, surface drainage; walkways, patios, driveways; retaining walls - if they could affect the building; garages/carport, garage doors and operators
Where electrical service comes into the house; electrical panel, main power shut off, breakers/fuses, wiring coming out of the panel; GFCIs & AFCIs; representative number of outlets, lighting fixtures & switches;
If visible (not covered in snow), accessible and will not pose harm to inspector (steep slope) or cause roof damage: Roof covering, drainage, flashing, skylights, chimneys, and anything else that goes through the roof, such as vent pipes, etc.
Visible foundation and framing; roof structure; crawl spaces; cellars;
Visual inspection of permanently installed air conditioning units;
